Hm. I think only the currently trained skill is not enough. To make that useful the tool would have to make an access every few seconds or so. I don't think that would reduce the load enough...
The information a skill tool needs would at least include the skill status of the skill that was trained before to be useful. Otherwise it still needs the whole thing to be able to calculate your overall skill status.
At least if you switch from one skill to another without finishing it. And I do that quite often...
Yeah! I agree on this, I mean if there is a large number of short skills on your skillplan it won't get updated once they finish. EVEmon can only 'guess' wether a skill has finished or not, which will probably lead to a messed up skillplan. . Ö |

Originally by: CCP Garthagk (For those who are technically inclined, you can calculate when it's going to work by taking the modulo of your characterID with 256, and then that's what "timeslice" you will be enabled in. Now look at the 24 hour period starting at noon today, divide that into 256 equal slices. Fairly straightforward now...)
OH HELL! Why do all 4 of my characters have to be at 21+hours

For those interested in when your character-xml becomes active, here's some math:
Your character becomes active at 12pm today + 24+(X-256+Intg(X˜256))˜256 hours
X = your character ID (9 digits usually) . Ö |

Edited by: Inquisitor Berthez on 23/04/2007 15:44:09 By the way, don't you dare turning the character sheet off again during the patch. That would really **** me off since all of my characters xml-feeds are getting online then. . Ö |
